This letter confirms a 40% settlement. Once again, our debt arbitration efforts resulted in a settlement for considerably less than half of what was owed on the debt. This settlement falls within the range of our average, even though it is at the better end of the range.
"VRM LLC will accept $1,600.00 as payment in full of the above referenced account # that we have purchased from Citibank if paid by 05/15/2006.
After certified payment has been received, VRM LLC, will notify the credit reporting agencies that this account is settled in full; and ask them to update the account as paid.
